Peace on Earth, Peace in Space…

peace in space
Oil painting by Robert McCall

My dear friends,

This past year I have really gotten in touch with how much I have to be grateful for.  Even tonight, even when things weren’t going so well over my Christmas dinner out, I found touch points of gratitude and that was the gift of my 2017.  I could always find something to be genuinely grateful for.

For 2018, I think we all need a little more PEACE.  We ask, and sing and talk about “peace on earth” year after year that I think that it becomes tinny with the repetition.  However, I think we need to find a deep and profound peace more than ever.  Even if we disagree with something or someone politically, we need to find peace.  Even if that someone or something, manages to irk us every single time, we need to find peace.

This Christmas Eve, I am committing my 2018 to creating, fostering and maintaining peace.  It was St. Francis of Assisi who popularized what we now call a creche or a manager scene.  And it was also St. Francis who prayed, “make me an instrument of Your peace.”

I love this painting above by Robert McCall.  It points to how small we are, how small many of our problems are, compared to the vastness of the cosmos.  However, I think if we all do our small part to be the peace we are seeking, that can also do so much good.

My Christmas wish for you is to find the peace you are seeking.  If you are seeking peace of mind, I hope you find it.  I hope you create it.  If your heart is at unrest, I hope for you to have a peaceful heart in 2018.  Seekers are finders and I hope you seek peace and find it.

Happiest Holiday to You & Yours!

Much Love,

Kristin

Who knew “Upping Your Game” can start with failure?!

Failures pave the road to success and these two ladies really upped their game to get there. So happy to have had the opportunity to learn their stories!

Love this show and how it is such a mystical dichotomy of failure leading to success, and how to handle it afterwards. A lot of times we view failure as just that – falling down, but Amy Lyle, bestselling author of “The Book of Failures” tells us differently, how she used “failure” as her success tool. And finance expert Meredith Jones also joins us with her story of ups and downs leading to finally becoming a leading expert in the one industry people tend to cringe at – FINANCE, and she gently shows us how to manage your dollars to lock in your success.

Your Messy Brilliance

Kelly is such an inspiration to us all! This was an outstanding interview and I was so thrilled to meet Kelly in person at the Spirit of Women Conference. We are messy and brilliant and need to embrace what Kelly calls our “messy brilliance”.

whatwomenwantradioblog

Who knew being messy was the new self-discovery to improving your life?

I’m thrilled that Kelly McNelis is launching her new book “Discover Your Messy Brilliance” THIS WEEK and even more thrilled she was on the show talking about it a few weeks ago.

The things that Kelly has been through in her life (especially the incest) helps her coach women into taking their authentic selves into another dimension. A place where they can be free to be themselves AND outwardly successful with their careers, relationships and more.

Here is our interview that is not just fun, but educational, REAL and well…a messy brilliance:

It’s ALL about mindset.

I suggest listening to this recent broadcast of What Women Want Talk Radio a few times to unpack all of what we discussed with the fascinating David Bayer. Can’t wait to meet him at The Spirit of Women Conference!

whatwomenwantradioblog

If you would have asked me a few years ago what I think about our minds controlling our destiny, I would have told you that you were out of YOUR mind for even asking me about it.

But now I know that the mind is much more powerful than I (or anyone) realizes, and that we should respectfully pay attention to people like David Bayer who can walk us through the steps of increasing our brain power, I urge you to listen to this show:
